Todate I read all of your books and am looking forward to the next one. Your books carry my interest from beginning to end, fast moving and also enjoy all the different locations your story takes me to - a travel adventure. I've enjoyed all of your books, keep on writing Elizabeth

Confused: in "leonie" and "peach," leonie twice had a "little brown cat," that has just intrigued me. does this breed STAY little its entire life, like a kitten? it certainly sounded like it in the books. does anybody happen to know of such a breed, or was this part of the fiction of the book? i'd love to know more about these cats, if they really do exist. thanks! (am just getting into "the rich shall inherit." had already read "summer in tuscany," and this book was referenced in it - for the full story on luchay, the parrot, and his owner, poppy mallory. can't wait to finish it!)

I grabbed Sailing to Capri because the cover caught my eye a few months ago. It was such a great book, since then I have read Invitation to Provence, The Last Time I Saw Paris, Meet Me in Venice, In A Heartbeat, and just finished The House in Amalfi. I am going to start The Hotel Riviera or Summer in Tuscany tomorrow.

I have never left the U.S., and now I am dying to see Italy and France, even Rome. I have had a rough summer and it has been a blessing to have your books to look forward to reading every day.

Thanks so much for allowing me to escape from my daily life, and into places I can only dream of seeing one day. You are my favorite author! Thanks Elizabeth...

Hello Elizabeth:

This has been a very difficult year for me. I needed an "escape" and found "A Letter from Provence" at the library. I read it and loved it. I have since read "Summer in Tuscany", "Hotel Riviera", "The Last Time I Saw Paris" and am now reading "The House In Amalfi". Thank you for your wonderful stories. Your descriptions of France and Italy are delightful and I can almost taste the wonderful food! I also enjoy the strength and fortitude of your female characters. A friend and I have promised that some day, some how, we will go to Provence.

I found you on the Amalfi Coast and have continued thoroughly enjoying your stories. And so far, except for the dog Criminal - all of the good guys survive! I truly enjoy your work. Keep them coming!

Elizabeth......I recently read 'Invtation to Provence' and was instantly hooked on your writing. Immediately read ' The Last time I saw Paris' and have just finished 'Hotel Riviera'. Since my husband and I love to travel your books bring back many fond memories of our travels.....the romance, the eating and the friends we have met. I decided to check out your web site and have become even more of a fan since I too am a 'Yorkshire Lass' who is married to an American. I met him over here. Look forward to reading all of your other books and theones that are still dancing around your brain.

I am a big fan and always have enjoyed your books. Just read The House in Amalfi and felt that you really glossed over Lamour's mother. It was hard to believe that she never looked her up or had any kind of relationship with her. Lamour was a person who really loved her father and it was difficult to accept that just because her mother was "drinking and carousing" she was completely erased from her life in the story.
